2. VIVOTEK VORTEX Products

When you purchase a VIVOTEK camera or VORTEX cloud subscription from Confluence Security:

  • We do not access or store your video footage or analytics.

  • All video, recordings, and Ai-generated metadata are securely processed and stored in U.S.-based data centers by VIVOTEK’s VORTEX platform.

  • Only the end user (you) has access to this data.

  • We assist with hardware provisioning, subscription activation, and technical support.

3. What We Collect

As an authorized reseller and support provider, we may collect the following information:

  • Your name and company name

  • Contact details (email, phone)

  • Shipping and billing addresses

  • Device serial numbers and license keys

  • Diagnostic logs (when requested during support)

We do not collect, retain, or access:

  • Any live or recorded video

  • Personally identifiable footage

  • Facial recognition or license plate data

  • Your login credentials to the VORTEX platform

4. Data Security

We take the security of your information seriously. Our safeguards include:

  • Encrypted communication and secure checkout processes

  • No storage of video or analytics data on our servers

  • No persistent access to your VORTEX environment unless explicitly granted for support purposes

  • Deletion of this information (unless required for legal, billing, or warranty purposes)
