VORTEX Subscription Policy
By purchasing a VORTEX Cloud subscription through Confluence Security, you agree to the following terms:
Your subscription includes cloud-based video recording, Ai analytics (depending on your selected plan), mobile and web access, and health diagnostics.
Subscriptions are available on a monthly or annual basis and are billed in advance.
Each subscription is linked to the MAC address of your registered camera and is non-transferable, except in the case of camera replacement or upgrade.
The subscription period begins at the time of camera registration and activation.
If the subscription is terminated, all cloud recording, remote viewing, and analytics features will be deactivated.
VORTEX Cloud is operated by VIVOTEK, and its service terms and availability are governed by their master agreement.

Warranty Coverage – Branded by Confluence Security
All VORTEX subscription-enabled cameras purchased through Confluence Security are backed by a limited hardware warranty provided by VIVOTEK for a period of:
10 years from the date of shipment or as long as the subscription remains active, whichever is longer.
Covered items:
Manufacturer defects in materials or workmanship
Hardware failures not caused by misuse, vandalism, or improper installation

All Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) requests will be handled by Confluence Security as your authorized reseller.
Replacement Policy – Confluence Security
Confluence Security offers a streamlined Advance Replacement Program for customers with an active VORTEX subscription.
Replacement Guidelines:
If your device fails under warranty, Confluence Security will ship a replacement unit after verifying the issue.
The failed unit must be returned within 14 business days to avoid additional charges.
Replacement units are shipped via standard ground shipping. Expedited shipping is available upon request at the customer's expense.
This policy only applies to devices purchased through Confluence Security and actively subscribed via our platform.
