Each subscription includes access to cloud-based video recording, real-time alerts, Ai-powered analytics (depending on plan), mobile/web access, and system health diagnostics.
Is the camera included in the subscription price?
Yes.
The Essential plan includes one camera and is priced at $300 upfront + $25/month.
The Premium plan includes two cameras and starts at $70–$80/month, billed annually upfront for the first year.
Can I install the camera myself?
Yes! All VORTEX cameras offered by Confluence Security are DIY-friendly. Simply mount, plug, and connect. No complex networking or port configuration is required.
Do I need to configure a firewall or VPN?
No. VORTEX is a cloud-first, zero-trust solution. There is no need to open ports or use VPN clients, and firmware updates are handled automatically.
What happens if I cancel my subscription?
Canceling your subscription will disable cloud recording, analytics, and remote viewing. You’ll still own the camera, but cloud features will stop working.
Can I transfer my subscription to another camera?
Subscriptions are tied to the camera's MAC address and are non-transferable, except in cases of camera replacement or upgrade.
Is there a warranty?
Yes! All VORTEX-enabled cameras purchased through Confluence Security are covered by a 10-year limited warranty or as long as the subscription remains active whichever is longer.
How do I get support or request a replacement?
Please email support@con-sec.com with your camera ID, issue description, and proof of purchase. If eligible, a replacement will be sent in advance.
How is my video data secured?
Confluence Security does not store or access your video footage. All recordings and metadata are securely stored in U.S.-based data centers managed by VIVOTEK’s VORTEX platform.
